- identify links between the organization's objectives and the needs of elementary and secondary school teachers with respect to the provincial curriculum
- work with education and marketing staff to promote the organization's school programs and outreach initiatives and to identify obstacles keeping teachers from conducting field trips
- review educational resources for pedagogical accuracy and ease of use
- strategize a plan of action to incorporate French programs into the organization's current offerings, with a focus on reliability and long-term sustainability
- help French-speaking education staff adapt their presentation techniques to meet the needs of FSL, French Immersion, and Francophone students
- explore funding opportunities available for translating existing resources and offering French programs
- develop workshops to be used onsite or as outreach activities, including podcasts
- enhance the self-guided visit experience for schools unable to book a workshop
- offer teachers various pedagogical materials to integrate the experiences acquired during the field trip into the classroom, such as
- PowerPoint presentations
- pre-and post-visit activities for the classroom
- creative worksheets for students
- vocabulary lists for English, FSL, French Immersion and Francophone teachers
- suggestions on how to integrate technology into the classroom
- adapt currently offered educational programs to target different age groups and learning goals (preschool, elementary, secondary, ESL, Special Education, Youth-at-Risk)
- adapt current programs for various communities of learners, such as different age groups, subject-areas, abilities, and languages
- manage short-term educational projects with respect to staffing, budget-making, fundraising, goal-setting, marketing, implementation, evaluation, and reporting
- deliver professional development workshops to teachers, educators, and managers on matters pertaining to public and school programming;
